DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH #91

Hi there. It's that time of the week again. Deconstructed sketch time. Initially I wondered if I was going to be able to incorporate a stamped image onto Jen's sketch this week, but no need to worry, it's actually quite a versatile sketch I realised.

Here's my card......

I used a newish Greeting Farm stamp, which I paper pieced and coloured with my copics. The paper is from Authentique. I love how it has co-ordinating distressed solids on the reverse of each paper. Bling and flowers are new prima, and I just love the saying by Shakespeare.

Here's Jen's fabulous sketch.......think I just might have to do a second card again this week.

There's plenty of inspiration to be found on the DT blogs.....

Don't forget to link up your creation to JEN'S BLOG . It's great to see so many people taking part each week.

Happy crafting,

Tracey.

DS90 take 2

Hi there.
I loved Jen's latest sketch so much that I have made a second card with it this week........

All of the papers are from one of the new MME paper pads, and the cute little digi image is from a company I've just discovered called Jellypark. They have gorgeous images, and this is the first one i have colored up!

Short and sweet post for me as I will be back later with DS91!

Have a great day,

Tracey.

MY NEW TOY and DS90

As if i don't have enough scrapping stuff already, well i bought myself a new toy........ It's a SILHOUETTE electronic diecutting machine, and i LOVE it !

There are over 30,000 shapes that you can purchase to add to your library.

Unfortunately I seem to have injured my back this afternoon, so this post will be super quick. There are 2 reasons....  a) I can't sit for too long,  and b) my mind is hazy from all the meds I have taken.

When I saw this cute little image in the silhouette library I couldn't resist. It reminds me of the "kissing cousins" necklace I had when I was a little girl. The word "love" is also cut on the silhouette.

And here is Jen's awesome sketch.

I hope you'll forgive me this week for not listing all the  DT details here. I'm fading quickly.

Dt links are in my sidebar, and if you click on Jen's name there it will take you to her blog to link up your entry.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week, and that you have time to play along.

Tracey.

DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH #89

Hi there and happy Thursday to you all.

Thursday means a new Deconstructed sketch for you to play with, and this one is fabulous, designed by the super-talented Jen Shults.

My card........

To be honest, I'm not entirely happy with my card this week. I think it might just simply be that the colors of the DP are not entirely to my liking. I do however LOVE the new button border die from MFT. A little fiddly, but well worth the effort.

I pulled out my airbrush and used it with BG10 and BG11 to make a cloudy background, and I paper-pieced her trousers out of a scrap of denim print paper.

So here's Jen's sketch.....

There's plenty of inspiration to be found on the Dt blogs

And of course we would love you to visit JEN'S BLOG to link up your creation and join in the fun.

Enjoy the rest of you week!

Hugs,

Tracey.

A SATURATED CANARY CHALLENGE

I'm still working on my 2013 calendar, with only 7 months to go, I think. I used the colour inspiration from the Saturated Canary Challenge #36 for my March calendar page.

The stamp is a Saturated Canary DIGI called Murray, and I have printed her out fairly large to go on my 6x6 calendar page layout. I guess you could also use it as a card. The papers are Jillibean soup, from last Easter I think! Oh, and the felt bow is chocolate colour, not black! Really!

Here is the colour inspiration...........

I have linked up my project on the Saturated Canary blog HERE

I can't wait to see what the next challenge is.

I'll be back tomorrow with a new Deconstructed Sketch.

Hugs,

Tracey.

A DS88 VALENTINE

Hi there and happy Thursday to you all. Hope you're all having a good week. I am crazy busy here with the kiddos back to school, after school activities every night, homework, grumpy children, the list goes on!

Anyways, time is short so i will stop rambling.

Just an hour ago I hadn't even started on my card, so I knew it couldn't have a colored image on it. Here's the finished product, after an hour of speed card making.......

Thank goodness, once i settled on this teensy Authentique image to use, everything fell into place.

Without Jen's awesome sketch, I'm sure I would have procrastinated for WAY longer and missed my deadline.

Here's Jen's awesome sketch.....

Please drop by the DT girls blogs for some inspiration......

And then drop by JEN'S BLOG to link up your creation.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
