A MONSTER-OUS DS95

Hello. It's Thursday again. My kiddies all finished up school today for a  2 week break at the end of term one. Boy, are we all ready for a holiday!

It's time for this week's Deconstructed Sketch, and it's a fun one this week.

I'm not too good at masculine cards, but this monsters stamp from Stamping Bella is just too cute to not use.

So here's my card.....

After stamping my image on express-it card with memento ink I colored it in copic markers to match one of my favorite October Afternoon papers.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

And here's Jen's fab sketch......

Please take time to check out my fellow DT creations.....

......and then head on over to THE DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH  to link up your entry.

Have a great Easter everyone.

DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH #94

Hi there.
Happy Thursday to you all.
It's time for a new Deconstructed Sketch.
It was a very quick and easy one for me this week. You know those cards that just work first time, with not too much "thinking time"

I used Doodlebug papers, MFT felt and dies, Spellbinders dies and a cute Greeting Farm sentiment stamp.

Here's Jen's awesome sketch........

I didn't change one thing with Jen's sketch. It worked for me perfectly just the way it is!

Make sure you check out all the Design team's samples for inspiration aplenty.

We would love you to join in with us this week.

Be sure to link up your creation to the Deconstructed Sketch blog HERE

I'm hoping to get crafty this weekend. How about you?

MY FIRST DTC challenge

Hi there,

Todays post will be very short and sweet as I'd like to enter my card in this months DESIGNED TO COLOR CHALLENGE which happens to close in a few short moments.

Here's my card, featuring my very first SATURATED CANARY rubber stamp. I proudly own nearly every SC DIGI there is, so I am delighted to start collecting the rubbers too!

Papers are doodlebug, with MFT goodies thrown in too. She's colored with  Copics.

And here's this months sketch......

I think I'll work on next months entry a little earlier.

Thanks for stopping by.

DS 93.....FRIENDSHIP

Hi there.

Well this week has gone lightning fast again. Thank goodness we finally have a break from the sweltering heat. Today was only 25degreesC and boy was it nice for a change.

My card this week is all about friendship. I really like the quote. It's a Hampton Art stamp.

I used scraps from one of my favorite Echo Park paper pads. I'm such a blue person.
I'm still loving my MFT rose dies and felt too. These roses are just the centres of the new rose die. The little bling swirls are prima.

No coloring today. That's a change for me. It's been way too hot in my craft room this past week so time was of the essence when making this one.

Here's Jen's sketch. Fabulous as usual, and really quite suited to a quick sentiment card like mine.

There's plenty of inspiration to be found on the DT girls blogs.......

Please visit them if you have time and leave them all some love.

I hope you are having a great week and thanks for stopping by.

IT'S NEARLY EASTER

With only a few weeks left until Easter I thought I'd better get a wriggle on with some Easter gift tags.

Jen's sketch this week was just what I needed, as it's a tag!

I paper-pieced and copic colored this little MFT pure innocence girl, using some new My Mind's Eye papers.

Jen's sketch was so easy to follow that I didn't change a thing.

Great sketch again Jen. I think I will be using this one again.

The team have some great samples to inspire you.

I hope you have time to join in the fun this week. Head on over to THE DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH BLOG to link up your entry.

Enjoy the rest of your week. It's a long weekend here, so hopefully I will get to spend a little time in my scrap room.
